Psalm 28:7 says The lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. I love this scripture for a couple of reasons. The first one is because it lets me know that the Lord is my strength and my shield. Have you ever been so tired that you didn't even feel like blinking. Could you imagine having a great battle and you defeat your adversary, and then another adversary comes and you have to do it all over again. I know so many people ask this question how do you continue on after all your strength is completely gone.
The Bible says that the Lord can be your strength and your shield. I love that because sometimes you don't have nowhere else to pull your strength from. Sometimes you can't pull strength from family or friends. It's not because they don't love or support you, however the reality is that they( at times) need a break also. You can't expect someone to strengthen you for a battle, when they're barely maneuvering through their own war. However, the Bible lets us know about an unlimited source of strength. What is it? So glad you asked; the Lord is an unlimited source of strength. Whatever you’re fighting with and you need strength to make it another day; call on the name of Jesus! When you call on the name of Jesus every part of you that felt like it wouldn't make it, now says I feel like going on. The same person who said I don't think I have the strength to make it another day, turnaround and say I'm ready for the battle.
I rejoice in the Lord daily because I know that when I am completely overwhelmed and all my strength is gone, I know that I can rely on the Lord to be my strength. When I can’t rely on myself. Not only can I rely on Him to be my strength but the Lord will also be my shield. The definition of shield is to protect (someone or something) from a danger, risk, or unpleasant experience. (My God I hope you caught that). Not only is the Lord going to be your strength, He is also going to protect you from danger, risk or unpleasant experience ( somebody needs to get excited!)
How do you get access to this strength and shielding? The Bible says my heart trusted in him and I am helped. That means that you have to have faith in the Lord that he is going to see you through whatever situation or circumstances you're dealing with. Even when it looks absolutely crazy and you don't see no way out. The Bible says trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. You don't have to understand how the Lord is going to bring you out. Just have faith that He's going to do it! Understand that the fact that you trusted in the Lord is the reason that the Lord is going to help you. Your trust and faith in the Lord is what activates your miracle!
Listen The Lord is going to strengthen you and be your shield of protection, however you must trust in the Lord with all your heart. When you trust in the Lord with your everything that's how to activate your miracle. Not only that because of the miracle the Lord is going to do in your life, you’re going to have a crazy praise. The verse says, “therefore I greatly rejoiceth!” That means you're not going to have a little cute praise. You’regoing to praise the Lord like you done absolutely lost your mind ( that's how I describe a great praise!)
People of God listen I know that sometimes we get wary in well doing,. but the Bible says, for we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. When you feel weak let the Lord strengthen you and shield you from every attack of the enemy. Hold on to your faith because you are about to unlock you miracle!
I LOVE YOU WITH THE LOVE OF THE LORD
